Our Services
Grant Thornton (Channel Islands) provides a full range of professional services in the areas of audit and assurance, tax advisory, accounting services, and corporate recovery and liquidation.
- The audit and assurance team provides a wide range
of audit and assurance services which include interim review of financial
statements, verification and confirmation services to third parties,
accounting advice, regulatory compliance reviews, SAS 70 auditor reports,
AAF01/06 internal control reports, review of corporate governance
arrangements and internal audit services.
- The accounting, finance and business team include
services in areas of accountancy, IT support systems,
management accounts, budgeting, company secretarial
and payroll.
- The financial management support team can
offer preparation of tax returns, financial and accounting
systems and controls, preparation of financial statements, management
accounting, cash flow management, budgets and projections, marginal
analysis, fixed asset registers and book-keeping systems.
- Our corporate recovery and liquidation services include
members' voluntary liquidations, corporate turn-around,
investigations, insolvent liquidations and tax planning.
As licensed insolvency practitioners we deal extensively with both
voluntary and insolvent liquidations. We deal with the liquidation
of companies registered in many jurisdictions including Guernsey,
Jersey, Isle of Man, UK, British Virgin Islands and Ireland. We
also provide advisory services in relationship investigations and
asset tracing, advice to creditors, directors or other interest
parties in relation to insolvency, conflicts or valuations.
- The firm also offers outsourcing services. For
a number of our clients we manage and deliver the complete
accounting and payroll function. We do not offer fixed
packages or propose rigid operating procedures because
our overriding aim is to deliver a seamless fit with our clients'
operations.

completion of tax returns to more complex advice and
